Transparent facade, alternating triangles

Kengo Kuma's design was inspired by a rare natural phenomenon on kaban lake called "frost flower". The architectural design has a strong geometric shape, creating a unique theatre with tatar culture.

ATCHAIN's creative leaders and 3d artists produced creative work through close communication with designers within a limited project time frame. The goal was to represent the beauty of architecture and to show the amazing design concept from different perspectives, as well as different seasons and relevant themes.

In the snowy winter days, the building blends in perfectly with the environment. The snow cover with the"frost flower" effect, along with the activitieson the rooftop creates a picturesque environment and wonderful scene.

During the summer days, when the lake and the sky share the same hue of blue, the transparent facade will be reflected in the water, and then the building and the surrounding landscape will all become part of the lake.

In order to relate the beautiful environment with the interesting design concept. The creative leaders of ATCHAIN conceived a scene where the building shape echos the ice shed, which was well received by the client. Eventually, the design became the winning scheme and received the first prize, which is well deserved.
